-1) The *OCFanArtClub is just opened up sign-ups for an Original Character Battle Contest. So if you're up for it, I'd suggest headin on over there to sign up. They've got a pretty damn fair panel of judges for it too. I should know. I'm one of them. lol. More info can be found here: [link]

Okay, a few updates:

1) THE VAULT IS OPEN!! That's right, the Self-InFiction Fanart Vault is now open and ready for veiwing. Not all the work is up yet, but I got some of it up. I'd hope that some of you give it a watch so's to help further promote these awesome artists.

!!SELF-INFICTIONS FANART VAULT CONTEST!!
(Both Artists AND writers welcome!!)

Here's the deal. In honor of all the many artists that were more than gracious enough to send some incredible art my way (via gifts, trades, commisions, kiribans, memes, etc.), I've decided to open up a second account just for that art so's to bring those artists further exposure. Though I am having problems getting it up and running at the moment, I hope to have it up by this weekend.

But I digress.

With the opening of the FanArt Vault (thank you ~Rosydragon for the name. ) I've decided to start a fanart contest so's to further fill it up with the hopes of bringing attention to even more kickass artists.

And here's how it goes down.
The contest will run from right now (July 3rd) up until my birthday (September 9th and cheap shameless plug. lol) This contest is meant for ALL kindsa artist and art forms. The list below will give you the idea of the scope this contest is intended for.

-fanart (all kinds)
-colorists (colors added to ANY of my lineworks)
-fanfiction
-wallpapers
-sigs/buttons/banners
-animated GIFs
-stamps
-3d art
-devIDs
-avatars
-comic strips/pages
-comic covers
-photomanipulation

and whatever else I may have forgotten. No medium is taboo here.

And whats a contest without prizes, right?
-1st Place:
1 year DA subscription
3 fully colored request pieces from me

-2nd Place:
6 month subscription
2 fully colored request pieces from me

-3rd Place:
3 month subscription
1 fully colored request piece from me

BUT in addition to the top three winners, there may also be various runner ups to receive other art prizes specifically for them. And the currnet top prizes MAY be added upon. Still working that out a bit. Also, if anyones willing to donate prizes, feel free to let me know. lol
